Itineraries
Salento Nautica operates in one of the most renowned and suggestive territories in Italy and of the whole Mediterranean Sea; we are speaking of the peninsula of Salento and Ionic Greece.
One of the departing ports is Gallipoli, known as “the pearl of the Ionian”, touristy destination that offers, besides refined gastronomic products, many artistic and cultural attractions.
It’s possible to leave from Gallipoli sailing along the beautiful coasts of Salento, docking at the typical small harbors of S. Maria di Leuca, Tricase and Otranto, exploring the numerous bays and caves that make Salento unique.
The most desirable destination for those who want a more trying navigation is certainly Ionic Greece and its group of seven islands that include Corfù. Depending on time, it’s possible to plan a cruise to all seven islands.
Once reached Corfù, sailing south, the first Island to be found is the touristy Paxos, followed by the virgin Antipaxos. Strips of land and houses that look like floating on the water announce the entrance to the channel of Lefkada, Sappho’s Island, that leads to the sheltered waters of Skorpios, Meganissi, Kalamos and unspoiled fishing villages.
Further south, a channel separates the green Ithaca from the rough and bare Cephalonia with white beaches dominated by high rock faces, alternating to charming and lively harbors full of inviting inns and typical souvenir shops, like Fiskardo, Assos and Argostoli.
Finally, the island of Zante whose poetic beauty is to be discovered.
We are willing to discuss alternative itineraries proposed by our clients. |
